Nasonex Is the only inhaled nasal corticosteroid indicated for the treatment of the nasal symptoms of seasonal and perennial allergies. Nasonex is a prescription nasal spray intended to help people prevent the symptoms of indoor and outdoor allergies such as pet dander, dust mites, mold, and pollens in grass, weeds, and trees. For the people suffering from seasonal allergies, Nasonex should begin to be taken 2 weeks before the season starts since Nasonex works best with regular use. For people suffering from year round allergies we encourage them to use Nasonex everyday.
Nasonex should only be used by adults and children over the age of 12. Clinical studies have proven that Nasonex will begin treating year round and perennial allergies within 11 hours of usage. The maximum benefit of Nasonex usually takes 1 to 2 weeks of proper treatment before it is achieved. One dose of Nasonex a day is designed to provide 24-hour relief.
